Bridging Loan Singapore

Waiting for expected funds while a payment is due sooner? Ask Moneyplus Capital about a bridging-loan assessment and check what happens if the incoming payment is delayed.

An enquiry is not an approval. All applications are subject to eligibility, verification and assessment.

Check the gap, the timing and the fallback

Bridging finance is intended for a temporary mismatch between outgoing payments and expected incoming funds. It should be assessed against evidence of those funds and a realistic repayment plan. An expected sale or payment is not the same as money already received.

Verify the incoming funds

Prepare the expected amount, date and supporting records. Account for deductions and costs before estimating what will be available to repay.

Allow for a delay

Ask how repayments would be met if the expected funds arrive late or are lower than anticipated. Do not assume an extension will be automatic.

Clarify the security and terms

Confirm whether the proposed loan is secured or unsecured, the repayment schedule and any early-settlement terms. Property-related terms require careful review.

Prepare for your enquiry

Explain the outgoing payment, expected incoming funds and the timing gap. Ask which supporting records are required, alongside the usual identity, income and commitment information.

Tell us about your regular commitments as well as the amount you need. Do not enter identity-document numbers, passwords or one-time passwords in the initial enquiry form.

Understand the offer

Confirm the principal, cash received, applicable fees, interest calculation, repayment dates and total scheduled repayments. Ask about early settlement and any applicable cooling-off rights.

Your questions, answered

Is this the same as a bank property bridging loan?

Do not assume the terms are the same. A licensed-moneylender offer must be assessed on its own security, costs, amount and repayment requirements.

What if the expected payment is delayed?

The contractual repayment dates still matter. Contact the lender promptly and discuss the position; a revised arrangement is not automatic.

Can I repay when the funds arrive?

Ask for the early-settlement calculation and conditions before accepting. Keep written confirmation of any settlement amount and completion.

Can I borrow against funds that are only expected?

Eligibility depends on assessment and supporting information. A possible future sale or uncertain payment does not guarantee approval.
